Boulders Beach is a sheltered beah made up of inlets between granite boulders, from which the name originated. It is loated in the Cape Peninsula, near Simon’s Town towards Cape Point, near Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is also commonly known as Boulders Bay. It is a popular tourist stop beacuase of a olony of African penguins which settled there in 1982. Boulders Beach forms part of the Table Mountain National Park.

At the tip of the Cape Peninsula 60km south-west of Cape Town, lies Cape Point, a nature reserve within the Table Mountain National Park;a declared Natural World Heritage Site. Ecompassing 7750 hectares of rih and varied flora and fauna; abounding with buck, baboons and Cape Mountain Zebra as well as over 250 speies of birds, Cape Point is a nature enthusiast’s paradise.
